A year to remember or forget? Now that is a question! On one hand it has definitely been a year we are looking forward to saying goodbye too on the 31st December for most of us. The impact of this epidemic has hit all of us in one form or another from personal loss through to economic heartache. However in order to make a bad situation a little more bearable we should take some positives from this. Lockdown has given us the chance to be with our loved ones and take stock of our lives, realising what we have around us is the biggest gift we have. For small retailers like myself I have been blown away and totally overwhelmed by everyone’s support to buy British and local! I, like most of my fellow small businesses, get great joy in making people smile and delivering that personal touch, from gift wrapping through to delivery of products to people shielding or who are unable to get out is just part of the service we offer. I ensure the products I sell are of the utmost quality whilst delivering at affordable prices. From cards to gin glasses to Christmas ornaments, I guarantee a gift that is personal and not easily found on the high street.With Christmas shopping mainly being done in the comfort of your homes, browsing the internet looking for those extra special gifts, I ask just one thing please think local, small independent businesses like mine will ensure your Christmas shopping a more relaxed and happy experience.Finally all it leaves me to say is thank you again for your continued support, you are all amazing people and here’s to opening the gin to wave good bye to 2020 and bring on a happy and healthy 2021....Love to you
